Meet the Maker

I have been immersed in the roping and rodeo world my entire life. I started running ropings when I was 14, and have never stopped. I was originally taught with pen and paper, and I think this gave me the full understanding of ropings that made the creation of Roping Desk possible. Since then, I have gained knowledge by secretarying jackpots all over California, including the ACTRA State Finals in recent years. I have also been fortunate enough to learn from other perspectives as well. I have helped produce both team ropings and breakaways, gaining invaluable knowledge about different aspects of how a roping can be run.

However, as much as I love running ropings, my favorite place to be is in the arena. I learned to Team Rope as a little kid, and fell in love with Breakaway my sophomore year of high school. I have competed in Rodeos since high school, moving on to the college and Pro Rodeos.

I am so lucky to have been given all of these opportunities to learn, and while I am not naive enough to believe I know even half of what it truly takes, I hope that my experience is enough to make Roping Desk the best tool for secretaries.
